About UsThe '92 Peppers are part of the Tomball Girls Softball Association based out of Burroughs Park in Tomball, Texas and affiliated with one of the most successful programs in the Houston area. The team's experienced coaching staff is dedicated to player development, the pursuit of excellence and providing female athletes the opportunity to perform at the absolute maximum of their ability. The '92 Peppers have a roster consisting of talented young ladies with 1992 and 1993 birthdays who want to play against the best competition in the country. |
Hot Pepper News
- Open Practices has been declared: All scheduled practices till further notice are open to everyone. They are scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays unless we are playing a tournament. Call a coach for further information.
- New News: We welcome our new additions to the Peppers, #1, #10, #6, #2.
- Injury Report: Except for bumps and bruises everyone is great.
- Just hot of the press: The girls ended up with 2nd place at the USSSA State Championship.
- 2008 Season: We will travel to various college exposure tournaments this summer and fall season and will compete at the NAFA National 16U Tournament in July @ Mustang, OK. We will turn 18U after Nationals and compete at as many Gold qualifiers as possible.
- Our direction: To devolop skills Individually and with Team play. To build a work ethic that will help us succeed on and off the Field. To build Team Spirit and Camaraderie. To show Passion for everything that we do.
- Fundraising: Our softball tournament in July is approaching quickly. It will be held July 12th and 13th at Burroughs Park. You can get the details on Eteamz. We will be organizing our annual skeet shoot tournament in August as well as other fun events to help defray the cost of the exposure and national tournaments. Your help, effort, and support is greatly appreciated.
- Latest Tournament results: 18U USSSA State Championship; we played through the winners bracket and lost to the Texas Storm in the Championship game for 2nd Place.
- 2008 Tournament Record:
- January 8th in San Antonio, 18U,3rd Place
- May, 10th in Houston, NAFA 16U-18U Qualifier, 1st Place
- May 25th in Houston, 16U USFA Qualifier @ Dyess Park, 2nd Place
- May 31st Round Robin in Tomball, 18 U-A and 18 U-Gold, 3 for 4.
- June 7th ASA 16U State Championship, 0 and 2.
- June 19th to the 22nd in Beaumont, 18U Stars Over Texas Exposure Tournament. 5 and 0.
- July 5th in Houston, USSSA State Championship, 2nd place.
- All Star Report: Although all the girls played awesome, #4 and #7 were chosen for All State tournament team and #1 was chosen Offensive MVP at the USSSA State Championship Tournament. Great job ladies!
