College Scholarships

As the father to a 14yr old girl playing both tennis and softball, can someone tell me the difficulty in obtaining scholarships of one versus the other(ie. less girls in tennis than softball etc,). She is a top softball player on travel but in first season
playing tennis has shown great aptitude. Is starting tennis at 14 too late to make it to the top? Could she do both? She has a softball body but she can smack the ball!
