  • T-ball division:  Players who are league age 5-6* are eligible to be selected to a Tee Ball team. This division is the foundation of Little League Baseball and one of our more popular divisions.  This is the best place to start learning fundamentals, teamwork, respect, and basics of the game.  This all takes place in a non-competetive, fun, everyone plays environment.  The batting order will consist of the entire roster.
  • Starting with the 2010 Spring Season our T-ball teams will consist of 8 players per team to allow for more play time and personalized instruction for our little guys.

*Players (league age 6) that have participated for one regular season in the T-ball    division are eligible to play on an (A) division coach pitch team.

  • A division:  Players who are league age 7-8 are eligible to be selected to a Minor League Coach pitch team.  This division is the next step up from T-ball.  All of the same basic skills and fundamentals are refreshed and refined, with one exception.  The players will hit live pitches from their coaches, as each coach will pitch to his/her team.  This division allows for even more growth and demands a little more attention of the players.  This division is still non-competetive and the batting order will consist of the entire roster.

  • AA division:  Players who are league age 7-9 are eligible to be selected to a minor league AA division team for the regular season.  This division is "kid pitch."  The first half of the season will consist of players pitching with some coach assistance.  If a walk is issued the coach for the batting team will throw three pitches to his/her batter (unless the last pitch is fouled off) and the game will continue.  The second half will be completely kid pitch in preparation for the AAA level.  Defensively, players will receive instruction on positioning, bunt defense, double play defense, relays, and rotation.  The batting order will consist of the entire team roster.  Each team will have a 5 run limit per inning for the entire game.

The regular season will conclude with all teams participating in a double elimination tournament to determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

  • AAA division*:  Players league age 9-11 are eligible to be selected to a minor league AAA team for the regular season.  This is the last stop before moving on to the big show (majors.)  This division allows players to experience a little of the competition they will face in the major division.  Instruction will focus on: pitching/catching techniques and strategies,  situational defensive plays, more agressive base running, situational hitting strategies, and preparing for majors.  The batting order will consist of the entire team roster.  Each team will have a 5 run limit per inning for the entire game.

        * The AAA division champion team will represent TVALL in the Tournament Of Champions at the end of the regular season.  All 9-10 year olds meeting the minimum play requirement are eligible to be selected to the 9-10 all star team.  This team will compete in tournaments beginning with the Local District Level and the possibility of advancing to the State Championship Level.

  • Majors division*:  Players league age 10-12 are eligible to be selected to a Little League Majors division team.  Once drafted to a majors team players are concidered "titled" to that team and unless traded, will remain on it through their 12 year old season.  This is Little League Baseball.  The batting order and defensive alignment will consist of 9 players at a time, so substitutions will be in effect.  While safety and instruction are always the main focus of this division, 1st and 2nd half winners will face off in a three game playoff to determine the Champion to advance to TOC's and represent TVALL in the tournament.

*All players 10-12 years old meeting the minimum play requirements are eligible to be selected to the 9-10, the 10-11, or the 11-12 all star teams.  The 10-11 allstar team will compete in tournaments beginning with the Local District Level and the possibility of advancing to the State Championship Level.  The 11-12 year old team will begin at the Local District Level and compete in tournaments with the possibility of playing at the Little League World Series Level.  This is the internationally televised tournament we all watch of television.  The US Champion will face off with the International Champion for the title of Little League World Champion!!

Juniors division:  Players league age 13-14 may be selected to play on a junior division team for the regular season.  This is it guys!!  Come ready to play on 90 feet bases.  You will pitch from a 60 foot mound.  Steal bases, pick off baserunners, and play REAL BASEBALL!!   So you're will play on fields with dimensions identical to those of high school and college fields.  This is the place to prepare for your high school ball and beyond.  The junior division champion will represent TVALL in the TOC's tournament at the end of the regular season.  All players meeting the minimum play requirement will be eligible for selection to the Junior All Star Team.  This division includes players from all three Temecula Little Leagues (American,Central,National) and will include interleague play with Murrieta during the regular season.

  • Seniors division:  Players league age 14-16 may be selected to a Senior division team for the regular season.  This is the highest level of competition on our league.  The division champion will represent TVALL in TOC's.  All players meeting the minimum play requirement are eligible for selection to the Senior All Star Team.  This division includes players from all three Temecula Little Leagues (American, Central, National) and will include interleague play with Murrieta during the regular season.
