Sunday, June 22 KY State Champs Crowned; Cograts 9u Lyndon Lightning, 8u West KY Outlaws
It was a great weekend for baseball in west Kentucky and the teams that participated in the USSSA KY State Championships put on a show at Mike Miller Park. Congratulations to the Lyndon Lightning, winners of the 9u division; and congrats to the West KY Outlaws, winners in the 8u division. The Lightning defeated the talented West KY Outlaws 11-2 in the 9u title game. The younger Outlaws topped the Murray Stingers 12-5 in the 8u machine pitch title tilt. Again, thanks to all teams that participated over the weekend. Great competition and sportsmanship were on display throughout the tournament.
