Spring Fling Crowns Champs and Rolls Through the Weekend Action
The Inaugural Spring Fling was completed on Sunday evening around 7 p.m. when the 11u division was settled when the Murray Jags topped the West KY Patriots 7-6. The action was very good throughout the weekend at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville. The weatherman kept the area sprinkles out of the mix for most of the weekend although the temperatures were chilly for mid-May. In addition to the Jags title, winners were also crowned in championship games in the following age divisions: 8-UNDER: West KY Outlaws 11-8 over the Matin Minors 9-UNDER: West KY Bulldogs 15-12 over the Heartland Hustle 10-UNDER: Team Blaze & Timber Rattlers (co-champs) 11-UNDER: Murray Jag 7-6 over West KY Patriots 12-UNDER: Elizabethtown Thunder 13-3 over the Hopkinsville Tigers. Thanks to all the participating teams in this year's first Spring Fling. We hope to see you thoughout the summer!
