WHO ARE WE? Teamwork Marketing & Promotions
Teamwork Marketing & Promotions, LLC was incorporated in the summer of 2002 by Tab Brockman, a volunteer leader in amateur youth sports in western Kentucky.
With over 21 years of professional experience in pro sports marketing and entertainment, Mr. Brockman was uniquely qualified to start this venture. His career includes marketing/promotion management positions with the Louisville Redbirds (baseball), Murray State University Athletics (Assoc. AD), the RACER Foundation, Louisville RiverFrogs (hockey), Bluegrass Downs and numerous other entertainment venues and events.
Prior to founding Teamwork, Mr. Brockman served Sportable Scoreboards as its national sales manager while the Murray company's overall sales increased 50% and the privately held company moved to #3 in the highly-competitive scoreboard industry.
In 2002, Mr. Brockman resigned his successful position at Sportable to be closer to his family during the crucial developmental years of his two sons. Extensive national travel was the determining factor.
Over the last seven years, Mr. Brockman has been heavily involved with area youth sports teams and leagues as both a coach and board member. His leadership roles include coordinating or key leadership positions with several PONY Regional Tournaments (1998-2000), the West Kentucky Invitational (1999-2001), the 2002 Rotary Invitational, 2001 Freedom Fest Invitational and other events. He currently serves as an area director for the USSSA. Mr. Brockman has also been very active in Calloway County youth basketball and football.
The move into youth sports and special event marketing was logical and practical and allows him to grow his love of and involvement with youth sports into a daily routine.
Founding Teamwork Marketing & Promotions also lets Mr. Brockman continue to give back to his favorite community - Murray, KY. There is no better place to live and play than Murray and Teamwork Marketing gladly shares Murray's hospitality first-hand when teams come to town to participate in events.
