The 2004 NCAA Track and Field Championships were held last week in Austin, Texas.  Maryland high school alumni performed well as Westminster alumnus Jesse O'Connell finished 2nd overall in the 800 meter run in a time of 1:46.79. 

Additionally, Woodlawn alumnus Joel Brown of Ohio State earned All-American status by finishing 3rd in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 13.43.
