GOLD MEDAL!!!!!
We are the 2007 AAU Jr. Olympic 10U Gold Medal Champions!! Congratulations to all the boys for their excellent efforts. I know we had a fantastic time and created memories that will live with us for a long time.
Good luck to all of you in your future endeavours and if you are in London give us a ring.
Lastly, I know Brett wants to add as many of you as possible to his MSN account. Check with your parents and if it's ok please send us your email address.

What a Semi-final!!
Wow!! What a fantastic game. It was a real nail biter. A back and forth battle that saw us down by 2 at one point. We were able to tie the game up with around 30 seconds left and our goalie out. This sent the game into sudden death overtime. We were able to pull out the victory and move onto the gold medal game tomorrow versus a strong South select team.
Lets bring home the gold!!

Semi Final rounds announced
Thanks to an undefeated record and a goals against of only 2 goals through 4 games, the West finished the round robin seeded first and we are second. We will play North in our semi final game at 4:45pm today. The winner moves on to the gold medal game and the loser goes on to the bronze game.
All of our remaining games will be webcast if you want to catch the action.

On to the semi-finals
After a very hard fought victory against a tough US - South team we ended the day with a shut out victory against Great Britain. This gives us a 4-0 record which hopefully will seed us first. We will not know our final positions until after tomorrow mornings games. Keep checking for updates.

Jr. Olympics Schedule Released
The calendar has been updated with our games schedule or you can visit the handouts section and download the entire schedule. The quarter finals, semi finals, bronze and gold medal games have been added also but we will not know which of those games we will be in until after the round robin.

Assistant Coach announced and team leaders picked.
It is with great pride that we welcome Paul Montgomery onto the coaching staff as an assistant coach. At the same time we would like to introduce the team to its team leaders. Our captain is Michael Dal Colle #20 and our two assistants are Brett Johnston #66 and Ty Jackson #91. Congratulations!

A practice has been added in Windsor on July 17th from 4pm - 6pm. Please do your best to attend.
Jersey numbers have also been assigned. I'm sorry if you didn't get what you wanted but I did my best. All I can say is Joe Sakic is a popular guy. Check the roster.

First off, we would like to thank everyone for attending the tryouts and giving such a great effort. For those of you that are not selected remember the advice I gave you and work hard towards acheiving those things. Team dates and Costs
Unfortunately some information is slow to come in so please check this page frequently for updates and changes. If you are selected to the squad the team fees are $200 (the fees are subject to change - may be reduced depending upon sponsor co-operation) and will include a team jersey and pants that will be yours to keep and also covers the cost for registration into the International tournament in Michigan. The tentative dates for the tournament are July 18th-21st at the Taylor Sports Complex in Detroit (Taylor) Michigan. There will be a practice prior to the tournament and it will be held in Windsor the day before the tournament begins. More details to come. Our goal is to ensure the kids have a great experience and can take home some fantastic memories. We look forward to seeing everyone at the try-outs and best of luck! - Team Manager, Tom Johnston
