TAZ would like to thank Scottsdale Fever-Steverson for inviting us to their 12u friendly this past Saturday. Also to the other teams that participated, Lil Saints and Wildfire. It was a great and fun weekend for the girls. The girls were able to experience being put in diffrent positions in game settings. Go check out our pictures of the event in our photo gallery.

Team AZ played in a 16U friendly this Sunday October 4, 2009. Playing 3 games total, the girls played tough & got dirty. TAZ took runner-up. Not a bad weekend considering we are a 12U team. Great job this weekend girls!! We are proud of you!

The girls had a fantastic weekend in Tucson. Great batting, fielding & pitching. Team AZ battled it out with Casa Grande Heat in the championship but Team AZ rocked and finished the win in Tucson!!! Our first 2009-2010 championship baby!

We want to welcome Angelique to TEAM AZ. We also want to thank our two pick up players Jordan & Cheyenne for their contribution.

An awsome weekend in Tucson. Nobody does it better! Way to go TEAM AZ!! 

We also thank our coaches: Fred, Mark, Megan & John. TEAM AZ dedicated their first win to Coach Megan.  

Team Arizona hosted it's 1st Annual Men's Softball Tournament on April 25th, 2009.  The tournament was held in Mesa, AZ and was a great success!  Thanks to all of the hard work by The Fernandez family.  Everyone pitched in and fun was had by all!!!

With clutch hitting and awesome defense from everyone on the roster, TAZ wins big in Payson!!!  And we all witnessed an amazing softball feat as Kaylin and Korey combined to pitch A PERFECT GAME!!!!

As part of our Christmas celebration the TAZ girls volunteered at the St. Marys Food Bank in Phoenix.

"The Food Bank has reached deep into the community, getting more food to more people. During Fiscal Year 2007-2008, the Food Bank distributed 43.4 million pounds of food to families and individuals, provided enough food for 167,000 meals every day, and garnered more than 327,890 volunteer service hours."

Our girls worked very hard for a few hours that day and all were able to feel the pride and honor in helping out families in need.
