12U Fastpitch Softball Team!

We are very excited about the 2009-2010 season and our roster of very talented girls.

Team AZ is returning several girls with club ball experience and adding some solid athletes with great attitudes and big bats!

Our fantastic line-up includes Kaylin, Katie, Alyssa, Ari, Lauren, Jamilia, Sierra, Shea, Stephanie, Angelique and Dustie!

We welcome our new players, Angelique & Dustie. We also welcome the families to Team AZ!

We are definately a force to be reckoned with!

Team AZ is IN THE HOUSE!

Team AZ is dedicated to teaching our young ladies to compete at the highest levels of fastpitch softball. We stress teamwork, commitment, dedication, and determination as a means to not only succeed in athletics, but in academics and in life. Our primary goal as an organization is to promote a shared commitment to academic excellence and athletic achievement. Because an emphasis is placed on education, stringent academic standards are a requirement for participation in our program. We hope, that by exposing our young ladies to these types of values, their greatest successes will come in their lives long after they hang up their gloves and spikes.

Our young ladies dream of playing fastpitch softball at the collegiate level as a scholarship athlete. Team AZ teaches goal setting and a strong work ethic, both on the field and in the classroom, as a means to these ends. As a part of the Junior Olympic movement, we strive to seek out the toughest competition in the nation!

We are always looking for "friendlies" so make sure to contact us if you're interested in getting together on the field.

TAZ would like to thank Scottsdale Fever-Steverson for inviting us to their 12u friendly this past Saturday. Also to the other teams that participated, Lil Saints and Wildfire. It was a great and fun weekend for the girls. The girls were able to experience being put in diffrent positions in game settings. Go check out our pictures of the event in our photo gallery.

We are doing it again!! We will be hosting a Co-ed adult softball tournement on Saturday December 5, 2009 in Mesa, AZ.  If you are interested in helping out our great group of young ladies please contact Yvette (602) 538-5494 or Carol (602) 432-3942 for further details.

The girls had a fantastic weekend in Tucson. Great batting, fielding & pitching. Team AZ battled it out with Casa Grande Heat in the championship but Team AZ rocked and finished the win in Tucson!!! Our first 2009-2010 championship baby!

We want to welcome Angelique to TEAM AZ. We also want to thank our two pick up players Jordan & Cheyenne for their contribution.

An awsome weekend in Tucson. Nobody does it better! Way to go TEAM AZ!!
