I need you to fill out this paper work ASAP and get it back to via mail or hand carry to me. I also need a copy of your childs Birth Certificate. Remember that you may take up to 2 weeks to schedule a Physical with your primary doctor so call today and schedule it before the end of June. I need to have all of this done prior to the start of the season. Remember they are having Physicals at the equipment handout and this is a cheap and yet effective way to get this done. If your child does'nt have all of his paper work in prior to the 1st day of practice he will be unable to participate in practice or drills. Leauge Rules So please don't put them in that situation Please lets get this done prior to practice; this can get very overwelming if 26 members of our team give me 1 item at different times. Welcome Team # 7 Cheerleading Squad
Team #7 Social, Volunteer & Fundraising activities (Check It Out)
Many items covered in this single email - so read all the way down, please....especially re: the SWIM PARTY!
1) Jamboree weekend. We need parents to be part of the "Chain gang" between 3-5, or 4:50-7, including clean-up on Saturday. We also need someone to be the "bouncer" during the 2nd shift. Please email me back if you're able to work either shift. Remember - I won't bug you as much about field day if you do this one! Our kids play from 2:10-3:20, so you shouldn't have any issue with seeing the kids play.
2) Helmet Magnets. We have personalized (Team #7) helmet magnets for sale. For those of you that are returning, these are the ones we had last year - you need another for your other car, right? For the new team members, this is a great way to show your team spirit! We are still selling them for $10 each. Please see Kellie Mayhan Wednesday or Thursday the first week of practice, or me later. Once we run out, we can't re-order due to the minimum order quantities - so hurry up and buy!
3) Swim Party! The Dieballs have once again offered to let us share their swim club (Lakota Hills). I will get directions to everyone the 2nd week of practice. We are planning on August 3 from 4:30-9pm. The team will supply the pizza, but I'd ask that you bring a 2liter size container of drink to share (water, kool-aide, etc work great). I'll bring the plates/cups. Cost of admission to the swim club is $10/family for the day, or $4/person - whichever is less. Please note there are NO GLASS containers allowed of ANY kind. Please email me back your RSVP so I can get a good pizza count. If you want to bring a bag of chips, fruit or veggies to share, that would be great as well.
4) Buddy Cards - you've all seen these, right? LaRosa's buddy cards offer you several buy one-get one offer stickers and sell for $10. If we each sell just 10 of these, we could earn $1,000 to put towards our EOY party, etc. or refund a portion of our Team fees (see #5 below). Last year my daughter sold these for school and sold 10 in less than a half hour. Some people have told me that they even sometimes split the cards into 2-$5 buddy cards to make them easier to sell. Or you could buy a couple and give them as gifts. I will probably bring the cards to practice on the 29th or 30th, along with a sheet further explaining the program.
5) Team Fee - as Jim mentioned in an earlier email, we do have several activities and expenses that we incur as a team. Last year we collected $40 from each family, had a few fundraisers and were able to do several activities. We use the $ to buy drinks as Jim mentioned, but we also fund an end of year gift for the boys, a trophy, participation in the end of year party for the players & gifts for our cheerleaders. At the end of last year we had $155 left to put towards this years' activities. As long as our fundraisers work out, and we continue our "touchdown" donations, I believe we can continue to offset the cost of all of our activities, with a $30 per family fee. Please see me with your cash or a check made out to Tomahawks Team #7, by the end of August. If you have a hardship in paying this fee, please see me separately and we can discuss.

Equipment Your Player Recieved
Have your child try on all of the clothes and equipment / pads that they were given ASAP. I need to know what fits and who has problems like pants are ripped, pockets were the thigh or knee pads go are damaged. I would like to be aware of these issues prior to the first day of practice. If you are not sure on how to fit your child (no prior football) call me and I would be willing to talk to you on how it should fit or feel. Wednesday, August 1

Game Field Rules For Parents & Friends (2007 Season)
When we visit other communities (Football fields & Complexes) as well as attending our own home field we are expected up hold certain standards: Admittance at Tomahawk Home Field 2007 (Freshman Stadium) will be $ 2.00 12 and over **** This is due to an increas in fees from refs and other CYFL fees **** * No tailgating from the back of your cars * Do not bring food or drinks for players after games use concession stands. * No Pets, just players,parents and fans at the fields * No drinking of any liquid that has Barley Wheat or Hops in it (Alcohol) * All of us are expected to pay the admission to all ball parks with exception of the football players. The fee should be around $2.00 * Purchase drinks and food from the concession stand to support the team we play that day, they are expected to do the same. If everyone does this it will balance out. * No parent is allowed on the field or into areas designated for players and CYFL members. * Parents and FANS Zero tolerance you will get thrown out and could also get me suspended as well. There is plenty of time to get boiled about issue pertaining to sports this is just the beginning. Tomahawk Stadium/Lakota Freshman Stadium RULES: Per the school district we must enforce a few rules that are different than most places. Everyone must enter through the west gate (along the tree line) only, not by the school or around back of the school. No one other than coaches and players may walk past the end of the bleachers. The school does not want people (photographers, ball boys, helpers, etc.) past that sign that we have posted there. This means coaches and players only on the hill, at the weigh in area, on the field, or on the track. Players and coaches can only enter to the field through the gate by our weigh in station, meaning folks cannot enter the gate by the concessions, over the fence or thru the gates by the stands. If parents need to get messages, water bottles, gear, etc. to someone in these areas they can see an attendant at the concession area or at the end of the stands. We will accommodate these requests. The only warm up areas are the field on top of the hill and the area between the school and the weigh in area. We are not allowed to warm up by the parking lot. It is imperative to our organization that these rules are strictly adhered to by all. As a courtesy to our guests that may have difficulty making the trip to the stands we have one, sometimes two, golf carts to provide rides for those in need. If someone needs this service have them inquire at the entrance table. At the end of their game inquire at the press box. Thanking you all in advance for you cooperation.
