Practice canceled for tonight Thursday Sept. 8, 2011
The scrimmage has been canceled tonight by Greg (found out last night prior to practice). I am going to cancel practice for tonight Thursday Sept. 8, 2011. We have been experiencing over 5 kids coming down with sickness, fever, strep throat, etc. The weather is not co-operating with us either (last night was a good practice for Defense; however would not be so beneficial for offense).
Saturday's practice: I am changing the location to Tomahawk field out front (next to the Freshman girls softball field) at 9 AM sharp with full pads. The practice will end at 11AM; due to all of the coaches and parents needing to volunteer at Tomahawk field. Full Pads need to be worn Friday, August 12

Admittance Fee's For Tomahawk Field 2007
Admittance Fee Into Games: The price for admittance into Tomahawk field (maybe throughout CYFL) is raised from $1 to $2 for those 12 and over. This will cover the cost increase for the refs and a raise in the team fees. Wednesday, September 7

Parents we have field day this Saturday September 10, 2011 at Tomahawk field We need to fill multiple shifts throughout the day and Team # 7 is the only team that is responsible this Saturday. Like every season we are responsible to volunteer throughout the season. I have to be there all day on Saturday and Jill is working a shift. We have 26 players on Team # 7 this makes 52 adults to help with this function. Please get with Christina on filling the shifts ASAP. Everyone has known about this for the past several weeks and has had enough time to adjust your personal schedule. If you have questions please feel free to contact me. I need all players at Sheakley Field by 6:45PM. It is important that everyone is together so all players can gain access onto the field.
Want to clarify when teams should plan on warming up on Sheakley Field if you choose to do so. The 1 hour available warm up time is BEFORE you are scheduled to check in. After a team and their cheerleaders check in they will then go on the tour of the UC locker room and weight room. After the tour it will be game time!

Here is all important information regarding the upcoming Future Bearcats Gridiron Classic. Attached is a map of UC for all the information that is listed below.
Gate Information
-Admission fee is $5 a person,12 and under are free.
-There are 2 main gates for admission. Gate #2 and Gate #6.
- Gate #3 is for wheel chair access only because this is the TEAM REGISTRATION gate. If someone is not handicapped they will be sent to one of the other gates for admission. Your cooperation with this is greatly appreciated.
Parking
-UC does charge for garage but not sure of cost.
-Limited street parking around the campus is available for free.
-UC reccommends the use of Cory Garage and CCM Garage (on map).
Warm-up Area
- All teams can warm up on Sheakley Field next to gate #2.
-So that everyone has a chance to warm-up here please limit your warm-up time to no more than 1 hour before check in.
Check in/Registration
-Check in is required 1 hour before game time at Gate #3.
-Please let your parents know this gate is for teams/cheer squads to check in and NOT an admission gate. The ONLY exception to this is if someone needs wheel chair access to get it.
-Please have the players in numerical order and please be on time as we are on a sensitive schedule for tours.
- Cheerleaders should check in at the same time with their team.
- Please make sure we have ALL liability waivers for players,team roster and cheer roster BEFORE the event.
- It is very important to have ALL these items. If we are missing anything for any one particular individual they will not be able to participate. PLEASE make sure everyone is on top of this as we do not want to have to exclude anyone from the event.
Concessions
- UC will have their concession stand available during the event.

Game Field Rules For Parents & Friends (2009 Season)
When we visit other communities (Football fields & Complexes) as well as attending our own home field we are expected up hold certain standards: Admittance at Tomahawk Home Field 2007 (Freshman Stadium) will be $ 2.00 12 and over **** This is due to an increas in fees from refs and other CYFL fees **** * No tailgating from the back of your cars * Do not bring food or drinks for players after games use concession stands. * No Pets, just players,parents and fans at the fields * No drinking of any liquid that has Barley Wheat or Hops in it (Alcohol) * All of us are expected to pay the admission to all ball parks with exception of the football players. The fee should be around $2.00 * Purchase drinks and food from the concession stand to support the team we play that day, they are expected to do the same. If everyone does this it will balance out. * No parent is allowed on the field or into areas designated for players and CYFL members. * Parents and FANS Zero tolerance you will get thrown out and could also get me suspended as well. There is plenty of time to get boiled about issue pertaining to sports this is just the beginning. Tomahawk Stadium/Lakota Freshman Stadium RULES: Per the school district we must enforce a few rules that are different than most places. Everyone must enter through the west gate (along the tree line) only, not by the school or around back of the school. No one other than coaches and players may walk past the end of the bleachers. The school does not want people (photographers, ball boys, helpers, etc.) past that sign that we have posted there. This means coaches and players only on the hill, at the weigh in area, on the field, or on the track. Players and coaches can only enter to the field through the gate by our weigh in station, meaning folks cannot enter the gate by the concessions, over the fence or thru the gates by the stands. If parents need to get messages, water bottles, gear, etc. to someone in these areas they can see an attendant at the concession area or at the end of the stands. We will accommodate these requests. The only warm up areas are the field on top of the hill and the area between the school and the weigh in area. We are not allowed to warm up by the parking lot. It is imperative to our organization that these rules are strictly adhered to by all. As a courtesy to our guests that may have difficulty making the trip to the stands we have one, sometimes two, golf carts to provide rides for those in need. If someone needs this service have them inquire at the entrance table. At the end of their game inquire at the press box. Thanking you all in advance for you cooperation.
