The Dalles Little League: Volunteering

The Dalles Little League relies on a volunteers to help ensure that the organization runs smoothly. Therefore, we are always looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals to support Little League activities.

Anyone can apply to become a volunteer. Whatever talents or skills you have, we can use them! As a volunteer, you should have a keen interest in the safety, well-being, and overall development of children. All parents of children involved in Little League Baseball are strongly encouraged to volunteer. As a parent volunteer, you have the opportunity to spend quality time with your child in a safe and fun-filled environment.


Common volunteer opportunities:

*   Being a Team Manager or Coach

*   Being an Umpire (Minors & Majors games)

*   Being a team-parent

*   Working concessions

*   Helping with field maintenance

*   Keeping the scorebook (Minors & Majors divisions)

*   Recording pitch count (Minors & Majors divisions)

*   Working the scoreboard (Minors & Majors divisions)


How to become a volunteer:

Parents, take a minute to fill out the volunteer form listed in the while registering your child. If you are not a parent and would like to volunteer, please complete the volunteer form (located under the "Forms & Documents" tab) and either return to a Board Member or send in to the P.O. Box listed on the Home page of our website.

We hope you will consider sharing your time, talents and skills to help provide your kids the best Little League experience possible.
