Trophy Club - Roanoke Football Association: TCRFA News: TCRFA Board Meeting Notes - July 20, 2008

Meeting began 7:00 pm

Attendees: Terry Flickinger, Jimi Haire, Traci Honeycutt, Joey Breton, Amy Diesch, Kevin Morgan, Tom Brown, Sam Geddie, Michael Robinson, Clair Barfield, Spencer Murphy, and Marc Santini.

Meeting began at 6:05 pm

Football –

Registrations:

1^st – 17 can take 5 more.

2^nd – 27.  Registrations closed.

3^rd 34. Up to 10 more.

4^th – 43.  Can take 1 more.

5^th – 35. Can take 9 more.

6^th – 48 closed. 

Any late registrations will have to have board approval.  After August 15, 2008, no more registrations will be accepted. 

August 2, 2008 – weigh ins.

August 16, 2008 – final weigh in.

Amy spoke with regard to volunteers.

Need to volunteer schedules to Team Moms.  Schedules have not been approved.  It should be in two weeks. 

Homecoming parade is October 9, 2008.  Homecoming is October 10, 2008.  Is the league donating again this year toward activities/floats?  Game prices same as last year. $3.00 adult; 1:00 child

Need two more coaches.  Every team has a squad.  6 girls on the 6th grade pure squad.  Approximately 12 girls per squad.  Aug 9^th is cheer camp.  New girls in the morning, returners in the afternoon.  Will order t-shirts and water bottles for the camp. 

Does the league want to purchase a snow cone machine for the concession stand?

Motion to purchase machine for $1700.

Motion approved.

Will need volunteers for announcer and scoreboard.  Is this a position that needs to be a paid position.  Will see if volunteer interest first.
