Trophy Club - Roanoke Football Association: Bobcat News
Starting in the 2012 Fall Season TCR Bobcat Football will now be participating in the "NTFL" North Texas Football League. The NTFL participating associations are Grapevine/Colleyville Youth Football, Grapevine Faith Youth Football, NWPA Youth Football, Southlake Youth Football and TCR Youth Football.
There will be some changes with this transition, but we are very excited about our next steps. We will have the revised NTFL By-Laws posted in the next two weeks.
Some key changes:
- Practice Start 8/13/12
- First Game 9/8/12
- 2nd Grade - 6th Grade Tackle (Pure Grade Level)
- No Gate Fees!!!!!!!
- Only 5 Football Coaches and 2 Cheer Coaches per Team
- Cheer Registration $100.00
- Cheer Uniform $190.00 due at fitting
- Cheer Returner Package $53.00
- Football Registration $225.00
- Registration Fees have increased due to eliminating gate fees.
- Purchasing New Improved Riddell Revo Attack I Football Helmets for all 2012 participants!!!!!
- Less travel on Game Day, all Game Fields are with in 15 Miles from BNHS. This will be a huge savings for parents with rising fuel costs.
On Monday April 16th the Trophy Club Town Council voted and approved the installation of lights for the new football practice field located just north of the New Independence East Baseball Park. TCR Football would like to thank the city for their support and providing our participants the proper resources to conduct practice. This is the first dedicated football field with lights that the city has made available to TCR Football and will be only used by TCR Football from August through December every year.
We also want to thank all the parents and players who showed up to the council meeting in support of this project.
