Before coming to Tates Creek High School, Coach Bo Lankster was a teacher and coach in the Paris City Schools. He now teaches math at Tates Creek and has been the head soccer coach since 1997. He has also served as the state coach for the Olympic Development Program.
Coach Lankster has lived in Lexington since 1976. He attended Lexington Catholic High School and graduated in 1984. While playing for Lexington Catholic, his team won back to back State soccer titles in 1982 and 1983.
Bo graduated from Brescia College in Owensboro, Kentucky in 1989. There, he played sweeper and center midfield. He graduated in 1989 with a degree in Business Administration and received his Secondary Education degree in 1991.
