Tewksbury Boys Basketball League: 2011-2012 Divisions
Grades 2-3
The Cadet division teaches basic basketball fundamentals through a game and practice environment. There will be practices and a game schedule for the season as we prepare the players for their Junior season.
JUNIORS
Grades 4-5
More drills are added and the basics are
re-enforced. A fun and competitive game environment starts to evolve.
INTERMEDIATE
Grades 6-7
The learning continues as the drills become more skilled and the game pace is on the rise. Team work is now at the forefront of the division.
SENIORS
Grades 8-9
A competitive division that utilizes certified game officials.
HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION
Grades 10-12
Allows high school kids to continue to play basketball.
CLINIC
Grades K-1
The Clinic division teaches basic basketball drills, such as passing, dribbling, shooting and teamwork. There will be one session per week for the season as we prepare the kids for their transition to the Cadet division.
TRAVEL
Grades 3 through 8.
Teams that travel to surrounding towns, competing in a fast paced environment.
