Taylor Mill Stingrays: Welcome
The Taylor Mill Stingrays Swim and Dive Team is a member of the Northern Kentucky Swim League (NKSL) and represents the Taylor Mill Swim Club located in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.

Practices begin June 3 and will be Monday – Thursday each week as follows:

There are 6 regular season dive and swim meets during the year with an All-Star Meet and Champ Meet at the end of the season. Dive meets are held on Tuesday evenings and swim meets are held on Thursday evenings at various NKSL swim clubs.
The team fee this year is $40 per child ($100 maximum per family) plus $20 per family for a raffle ticket pack. Each swimmer/ diver will be given a team t-shirt and swim cap.
The purpose of the Taylor Mill Stingrays Swim and Dive Team is to provide an opportunity for each athlete to be successful in swimming and/or diving. The Stingrays’ program will allow each athlete to experience the sense of belonging to a team while learning the sport, setting individual goals, and having fun while participating in practice, meets, and other activities.

Saturday, May 11
This year’s team will be headed by co-head swim coaches Marissa Doerger and Kirsten Larson and head dive coach Bridget Fallis. Joining them will be assistant swim coaches Alex Kenney, Brennan Kelly, and Cassie Schoborg.
Marissa is our only returning coach this year. She swam many years with the Stingrays, swam for the Cincinnati Marlins and Holy Cross High School, participated in the Coaches In Training program, was one of two senior swimmers last summer, and just completed her first year at the University of Louisville.
Kirsten swam many years with the Stingrays, swam for the NKY Clippers and Calvary Christian High School, was the second of two senior swimmers last summer, won the NKSL’s Mike Bresser Scholarship, and just completed her first year at Centre College where she swam for the Colonels.
Bridget dove (and swam) many years for the Stingrays, dove (and swam) for Scott High School, will be a senior diver (and swimmer) this summer, is completing her senior year at Scott High School, and will be attending the College of Charleston in the fall.
Alex swam for the Mercy HealthPlex Sea Wolves and Turpin High School, and just completed his first year at the University of Cincinnati where he swims for the Bearcats.
Brennan swam many years for the Stingrays, swam for St. Xavier High School, participated in the Coaches In Training program, will be a senior swimmer this summer, is completing his senior year at St. Xavier High School, and will be attending St. Louis University in the fall.
Cassie swam many years for the Stingrays, swam for the NKY Clippers and Notre Dame Academy, participated in the Coaches In Training program, will be a senior swimmer this summer, is completing her senior year at Notre Dame Academy, and will be attending Hanover College in the fall.
Thursday, May 23
The team is looking for individuals to officiate at dive (diving judges) and swim (stroke and turn judges, starters) meets. The NKSL will conduct a Dive Clinic on Monday, June 3 and a Swim Clinic on Wednesday, June 5. Both sessions start at 7:00pm and will be conducted at Bluegrass Swim Club. Coaches and returning officials are expected to attend these clinics, too. Please contact Randy Frickman (859-250-5112), the team’s NKSL delegate for details.

Become a follower of the Stingrays at twitter.com/TMStingrays! Twitter will allow us to send out “tweets” to let our followers know “what’s happening”. Examples are “Practice is cancelled today due to lightning”, “The theme for tonight’s meet is pirates”, or “Congrats on a big win tonight”. Twitter works best when you have these messages forwarded to your mobile phone.
