Tamarac Little League: About Us/Contact Us

About Us/Contact Us

Originally founded in 1972, Tamarac Little League, Inc. is a private non-profit Florida Corporation chartered through Little League Baseball, Inc., and operated by independently elected volunteer officers and appointed board members, assisted by the work of hundreds of other volunteers.  Tamarac Little League is not run by the City of Tamarac, although our close cooperation with the city has helped us become a successful volunteer organization serving the youth of Tamarac and surrounding communities.

The objective of Tamarac Little League shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

Tamarac Little League believes that every child who wishes to play baseball should be entitled to do so regardless of skill, gender or financial circumstances.  The league will not deny any child a chance to play baseball due to ability, gender or financial hardship.
