2007.....Tallmadge native Danny Blake has been a fixture at second base throughout his baseball career and this year will be no different. Blake is a solid leadoff hitter who appeared in all 40 games a season ago. Danny batted .306 with 13 RBI's and 29 runs scored and had a .422 on base percentage.
2008..Blake has appeared in all 71 games through his two year Viper career. Danny batted .327 with 16 RBI's and was second on the team with 12 stolen bases. The lead off hitter had an on base percentage of .397 and collected four doubles and a triple last season. Blake is a guard on the Tallmadge Freshman basketball team.
