SPECTATOR ADMISSION:
Per Day:
Adults & students without ASB $7.00
Students with ASB and Elementary (under 12) $5.00
Senior Citizens (62) $5.00
Pre School (with parents) Free
Doors open 1 hour prior to beginning of play – 11:00 Friday and 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
Remember, the admission prices are per day. Please inform parents of per day prices.

TYPE OF TOURNAMENT:
Sixteen team bracket tournament with double elimination.
ROSTER & ELIGIBILITY
You will need to complete your roster online at the WIAA website by Thursday, October 29.
TEAM ENTRY:
Each team may have a roster of 14 players and 4 coaches/managers. Please do not ask for exceptions. No one other than those listed on the official roster will be allowed on the playing floor or team bench. All players/coaches and managers must enter together through main gym entrance.
PASSES:
League and season will not be honored. WSSAAA passes are accepted. WSCA passes are accepted. WCD Executive Board passes are accepted.
GATE PASS LIST FORM:
Administrators or Faculty only on the supervision gate pass list. List must be faxed or e-mailed to
Jo Anne Daughtry, Tournament Director, by November 4. Fax number is: 253-373-7717. Faculty supervisors whose names are on the gate list are asked to sit in the student section representing their school. Your help is important in maintaining a sportsmanlike atmosphere. Spectators wishing to leave and return will be stamped.
TEAM INTRODUCTIONS:
Only introductions will be for the championship match on Saturday. All players and coaches for both teams will be introduced.
OFFICIALS & SCORERS:
The Tournament Director will arrange for officials from officiating boards located in District 3. These officials will serve as game officials, line persons and scorekeepers. Assigning secretaries from each board represented determine official assignments.
TRAINING ROOM:
Training room facility with ice will be available. You will need to provide your own athletic trainer and supplies.
LOCKER ROOMS:
The girl’s locker room will be available to share on Friday and Saturday
TOWELS & PADLOCKS:
Teams are to furnish their own towels and bring their own padlocks.
CHEERLEADERS:
Admitted only in uniform and must remain in designated area.
FILMING:
There are no electrical outlets available in bleachers. Bring plenty of battery power.
BUSES:
Drop off participants at main gym entry. Park bus at Kentwood East lot, behind the baseball field.
TEAM VANS:
Park in lots surrounding Kentwood High School.
SPECTATOR PARKING:
Parking lots surrounding Kentwood High School.
GENERAL STATEMENTS:
1. Bands will not be permitted to attend the event.
2. The official school banner (made of cloth/vinyl) will be the only sign permitted.
3. Any artificial noisemakers are prohibited and may be confiscated by tournament supervisors.
4. The throwing of confetti or other materials is not allowed.
CONCESSIONS:
Concessions will be sold in the lobby and there will be a coach’s hospitality room available.
TOURNAMENT T-SHIRT:
Shirts will be on sale.
COURT ASSIGNMENTS:
Drawn by West Central District/SW Volleyball Committee. The Tournament Director shall have authority to make adjustments as necessary.
PRE MATCH WARM-UP:
The 5-5-2 warm-up procedure will be followed (same as State). Home team warms up first. Twenty minute minimum between matches when teams are playing consecutive matches. Teams should not arrive earlier than one hour prior to the first match. Teams allowed on court at 11:20 Friday and 9:20 Saturday.
TOURNAMENT RULES:
2009 National Federation rules will be used with these exceptions:
1. Each match will consist of 3 out of 5 games. First four games to 25 and fifth game to 15. with No Cap.
2. Each school will furnish their own warm-up balls. Match balls will be furnished by the tournament manager.
3. Game officials and the line judges will be furnished by the official’s association.
DESIGNATION OF HOME TEAM:
1. The home team will be the bottom team of each bracket.
2. The home team warms up first.
