Tahoe Valley Juniors Volleyball Club: Welcome

Beach Game

Tahoe Valley Juniors is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a positive, quality club volleyball experience to youth in the Lake Tahoe area at a reasonable cost.
The program falls under the jurisdiction of the Northern California Volleyball Association(NCVA) region of USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Programs.
We field girls' teams in the 12 and under(typically 5th-6th graders,) 14 and under (grades 7-8,) 16 and under (grades 9-10,) and 17 and under (entering 11th grade) age groups.

Teams begin forming in December. The club volleyball season runs from December through June, though our younger teams (pre-high school age) typically play a shorter season (February-May depending on the team.)
Usually play consists of two tournaments per month (on weekends) during the season. Most teams practice two evenings per week. Most, if not all of the tournaments are out of the area (Sacramento, Reno, Bay Area.) Our coaching staff is made up of coaches from South Tahoe High School and South Tahoe Middle School. Practices are held at those facilities as well, depending on availability.

Cost is determined by the number of players on a team (usually 9-12) and the tournaments entered. Our teams run $250-$700 per season depending on the level. Individual player travel expenses are not included. Scholarships are available on a case by case basis and no serious players will be turned away for financial concerns.
