  Welcome

TAA Youth Football

TAA currently runs the youth football program for the towns of Turner, Greene, and Leeds. We offer a Flag Football program for children in grades K - 2 which is run to teach the kids the basic rules of football with no contact.

Our 3rd & 4th grade as well as our 5th & 6th grade programs are full contact with full equipment. These two levels compete in the Sandy Andy Football League against teams from surrounding towns including: Rumford, Farmington, Jay-Livermore, Buckfield, and Greenwood. TAA currently has two teams at each level in the S.A.F.L. Each team generally has between 20 and 25 kids per team which allows for plenty of playing time and as well as very productive practices with plenty of instruction.

The season starts with practices beginning in Mid-August and games run on Sunday afternoons beginning after Labor Day. Playoffs typically end the first weekend of November with a Championship game being played at a pre-determined site. Football registration forms will be sent home with all S.A.D. 52 children before the close of the school year. Registration forms can also be downloaded off this site by clicking on the Sign-Up Forms link on the left hand side of the page or also off the TAA Home Page.

For more information on TAA Youth Football please contact Darryl Coombs.

"Perhaps the single most important element in mastering the techniques and tactics of racing is experience. But once you have the fundamentals, acquiring the experience is a matter of time." - Greg LeMond
