Skokie Youth Basketball now plays in the

Central Suburban League

The Central Suburban League will offer the same basketball experience you have always enjoyed from Skokie Youth, with new extras, such as free player clinics with top coaches from the area, and a new post season tournament played at the main gym at Niles North and Niles West High Schools. 

 The Central Suburban League is the alliance of Niles North High School, Niles West High School, Lincolnwood Park District, Morton Grove Park Disrtict, Skokie Park District and Skokie Youth Sports. 

Skokie Youth Registration for the 09/10 Central Suburban League Basketball season is open and continues through November 15, 2009 for children K thru 8th grade. Late registrants are subject to availability. Register at Weber Center, 9300 Weber Park Place, Skokie, IL 60077. *Make checks payable to Skokie Park District. Credit Cards are accepted.

BOYS’ GAMES ARE PLAYED ON SUNDAYS, & PRACTICES ARE NOT ON FRIDAY OR SATURDAY.

The girls play games on Saturdays. All games are played at Skokie area gyms. The season begins at Weber Center with the Basketball Bash.

Evaluations and practice continue in November, with practice games in December. The season runs January 8 to mid-March. The 4th - 8th grade teams have one weeknight practice per week. Younger divisions have short practices prior to weekend games.

    Help Us Out!  All Skokie Youth Sports' programs—including baseball, softball and basketball—rely on volunteers for continued success! Please consider volunteering for any of the following capacities:

      • Head Coach
      • Assistant Coach
      • Umpire/Referee (paid position)
      • Team Parent
      •  

    Coaching is especially needed! No experience is necessary—Skokie Youth will provide you with appropriate training. 

    To volunteer for a position, check the appropriate box on your child's registration form! A Skokie Youth representative will be in touch with you.
