Welcome to Sussex-Wantage Little League Baseball Located in Sussex County, New Jersey Fall Ball 2009 Fall Ball is a Little League International program that allows players ages 8 through 14 a chance to play baseball during the months of August, September and October. Since registration of the fall ball program is typically much smaller than spring registration, participants will be required to travel to other towns for away games. Given the fewer number of players and volunteers for fall ball, SWLL will handle registration for this program on a first-come-first-serve basis. Depending on the number of managers and coaches that volunteer, we will only accept 13 players per team for which we have a manager/coach. All other registrations will be put on a waiting list. Players who participated in the 2009 spring season do not need to submit a copy of their birth certificate. Managers and coaches who participated in the 2009 spring season do not need to submit a volunteer application. There WILL NOT be any in-person registration dates for fall ball. All registrations will be handled through the mail. 2009 Registration Fee: Minors/Majors/Juniors: $50.00/player * Registration forms must be received by August 15th to avoid late fee * For Players: 1. Go to Forms page at http://www.eteamz.com/swllbaseball 2. Download, print and completely fill out 2009 Fall Player Registration Form (be sure to indicate shirt size and division) 3. Attach a copy of player's birth certificate 4. Attach payment (please do not send cash) 5. Mail registration form, birth certificate and payment to: Sussex-Wantage Little League P.O. Applebee's Fundraiser
You must bring flyer with you for SWLL to get credit. Flyer can be found on the FORMS page. Sussex-Wantage Little League will be holding a Dining to Donate fundraiser at Applebee's in Newton (6 North Park Drive) on Monday, April 27, 2009 from 5pm-midnight. Applebee's will donate 10% of the proceeds to the league.
All participants MUST have a copy of the flyer in order for SWLL to get the 10%. No flyer/No donation. You may not share the flyer with another table and you may not hand out flyers on Applebee's property. There will be flyers at the parade.

Opening Day Parade
The Sussex-Wantage Little League Opening Day Parade will be held on Saturday, April 18th at the Sussex Middle School. Line up to begin at 11:00 a.m. All players are to wear their game uniforms. Each team should create a banner displaying their team name. A banner contest will be held immediately following the parade. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the contest at each divisional level. Hot dogs and soda will also be served following the parade. Wednesday, January 21
SWLL Clothing Drive
Help support the SWLL program by donating your clean, used and wearable clothing, shoes and accessories such as hats, scarves, gloves, ties, handbags or belts along with soft household items such as bedding, towels, curtains or tablecloths. Donations of used clean, hard toys and stuffed animals are also acceptable. It’s Spring cleaning time. This is a great reason to clean out your closets, attics, crawl spaces and more. Tell all your friends and neighbors to help out with this community fundraiser. SWLL will be reimbursed for all goods by the pound. The collection will go to people in need. All items should be placed in garbage bags and dropped off at: Brookside Park, Sussex, NJ Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,Sunday or Monday April 15, 16, 17, 19 or 20 from 5:00—7:00 p.m. or at the SW Little League parade at the Sussex Wantage Middle School, Rt. 565 on Saturday, April 18 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Pictures
Pictures will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Clifton E. Lawrence school gym. Please consult with your manager for the specific time for your team. Thursday, March 26
Friendly's Fundraiser
Sussex-Wantage Little League will be holding a fundraiser at the Friendly's Restaurant in Hampton/Newton on: Monday, March 30th, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friendly's will be donating up to 10% of the proceeds to SWLL. Player Evaluations
Player evaluations will be held on January 31st, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Clifton E. Lawrence School gym. Not all players are required to attend. A league official will notify you if your child needs to participate. Arrival times will also be communicated. |
