The Manitoba AAA Midget League is pleased to announce that Cole Olson of the Southwest Cougars, is this weeks recipient of the Chicken Chef Offensive Player of the Week in the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League.

     Cole was a crutial part of the Cougars winning 2 out of 3 games this past weekend.  He had a 2 point game on Friday (1G, 1A) vs Interlake.  On Saturday in the Cougars 4-3 shoot out win over the Thrashers, Cole set up all 3 regulation goals and he scored the only goal of the shootout.  

     With 3 key Cougar players away at the under 17 tournament Cole stepped up to carry his team to a successful 3 game weekend.  Cole tallied 5 points and ending up a plus 4 over the weekend.  Olson is tied for the team lead with 9 points.  Cole is a 17 year old center from Deloraine.
