Since 2003, all local Little Leagues are required to conduct background checks on all board members, managers, coaches, and other volunteers or hired workers. The CORI form provides the information necessary for doing such a check.

(These local ground rules are superseded by the Official Regulations and Playing Rules of Little League, the Little League Operations Manual, The Swampscott Little League Constitution, and The Swampscott Little League Safety Manual.)

2011 Ground Rules

The Swampscott Little League Safety Awareness Program is an effort to create awareness, through education and information, of the opportunities to provide a safer environment for the players and all participants of the program. This manual is offered as a tool to place some important information at manager’s and coach’s fingertips. Whenever in doubt, USE COMMON SENSE.
