12/02 - Varsity Alumni game vs Varsity team scheduled for 12/23/08.

10/20 - The Varsity team opened up the 2008-2009 season with a blow out of the Gateway Gators 10-2 at Center Ice in Delmont.  Bronson Dodd recorded the team's first hat trick of the season.  Tayler Wagner and Ryan Hestin were each +7 for the game.  In all, 12 Raiders made the scoresheet with goals or assists.  The Raider offense swarmed around the Gator net all night.  Ryan Schutte was terrific between the pipes.

10/17 - Congratulations to the JV team and the coaches for their win over host North Allegheny in the championship game last night at BladeRunners.  The game was back and forth all night until SV lobbed in a shot from the point just over the NA goalie for a 2-1 win.

10/17 - In the earlier game, the Freshman team gave Quaker Valley a good game but came up short in their quest for a championship in the NA tournament.  Congratulations to the Freshman team and coaches for a great tournament run ! ! ! 

With the pre-season tournaments now behind us, all three teams are ready to get the regular season underway.  We wish all of the teams the best of luck this seaon.

Congratulations to the Varsity team for winning the St. Margaret's Fall Face-Off Tournament.  The team defeated Mt. Lebanon, Hampton, Fox Chapel, USC and Bethel Park.  The tournament trophy will be engraved with "2008 Seneca Valley" and our trophy will be taken to the A/D office at the high school for display in the trophy case.  SV last won this tournament in 1999.  A great start to the 2008-2009 season ! ! ! Congratulations to Logan Pfeffer for winning the tournament MVP award.  Thanks to the varsity coaching staff and especially to JV Head Coach Mike Carson for filling in for Coach Dingle during the semi-final game against USC.  We did confirm afterwards that it was indeed Mike Carson (in the suit and tie) on the bench with Coach Kirstein.  :- )

The next BOD meeting is scheduled for 10/12/08 and the Membership meeting is scheduled for 10/15/08.  See calendar for details.

10/8 - Please note that all jerseys (except those already fitted with name tags) must be turned in to Nick Mesisca following pictures on 10/13 & 10/14.  The jeresys must be washed or they will not be accepted.  Nick will have the jerseys back by 10/16.  Thank you for your cooperation.

09/17 - Varsity scrimmage with Peters Township scheduled for Monday, 10/13 beginning at 8:30 pm at Southpointe. 

09/17 - Congratulations to Mike Rohm, Logan Pfeffer and Tyler Rose for being named Captain, Assistant Captain and Assistant Captain respectively for the 2008-2009 Varsity team.

09/16 - Game schedules were emailed to all members and coaches.  Games will be added to the calendar over the next few days.

9/4 - Calendar updated for JV and Freshman tournament on Sunday, 10/19 for scrimmage games vs Peters Township at Southpointe.  Freshman plays at 2:30 pm and JV plays at 3:50 pm.

The JV and Freshman teams will be participating in the North Allegheny pre-season tournament to be held in Sept / Oct.  Details to follow.
