Golf Nation - WINTER GOLF
Located in Palatine - Work out, chip, putt, hit balls, or just watch golf on TV. Many Viator golf team members practiced together here during the winter of '08.
Illinois Junior Golf Association
New for 2008 - PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP and 2-day Classic Events.
Be sure to try to play in the Bloomington Classic as it is contested on THE DEN, site of the State Championship.
The Masters
DuPage County Junior Classic
36 Hole Nationally ranked event played in the 1st week of May at Oak and Maple Meadows golf course in Wood Dale, IL.
Country Youth Classic
Great tournament to play in for VARSITY WANNABE players. 36 Hole tournament with 14/15 ages playing Prairie Vista and 16/17 ages playing The Den (State Tournament site).
This tournament is ideal for young players on their way up who are thinking about breaking 80 as Prairie Vista offers a bit of an easier test than The Den.
Optimist International Junior Golf
REALLY GREAT International Tournament in Florida in late July. The Illinois qualifier is June 10-11 in Springfield.
Top 7% advance to Florida in each age division. Great value, nice course and VERY WELL run!
PGA Junior Series
The best value around in multi-day tournaments. No annual fee, and 2 days are $105, 3 days are $155. You need to have a resume of some accomplishments to get in.
There are 10 tournaments around the country all Summer long, many are within 5 hours drive.
IHSA Boys Golf events

Great golf tournament down in Quincy Illinois in mid June with an international field.
