Coach Bill and Sandy,
Thank you for your insperation to Kayleigh. Even though she may have changed uniforms her heart will always be with the both of you. She loves the Diamonds as well and wishes them the best. This is something you have taught her that friendships go deeper than just a uniform. I am so glad to have you coaching her on hitting and helping us with the catching. God Bless you both.

To all who may read this. I am honored to know Bill and Sandy both personally and as coaches. I want to say "Thank You" to you both for all the dedication you have shown our girls. It is funny they came out of retirement to help Jade with her pitching and from there they began working with Cindy and Hailly on pitching, from there Kayleigh and Jonalyn on catching and now we find them as a vital, yes vital, part of our organization as they are our primary Hitiing coaches as well! As a friend, father, and coach I want to again say "Thank You" and God bless you both and your family.
Your friend forever,
Mike Luther |

| Not knowing that Sandy and Bill had "Retired" from coaching we called and asked if they could take a look at our daughter Jade pitching. Several calls later the Roberts not only took a look but coached her into the pitcher she is today. Thank you both |

| My sister, Donna Opitz played for the Pepperettes and later the Pepper's Women's team. It was great finding acknowledgement for her love of softball during a random search. We moved to New Jersey in 1978 and came back to Sierra Vista in 1980 where she finished high school at Buena and then moved to New Jersey to become a photographer. Donna continued to play softball in New Jersey in league type teams. She loved the sport and was a great fan of the UofA softball program. She passed away in June of 2005 unexpectantly and is missed every day. Thank you for posting her name! It brings back great memories!!! |
