Welcome to the Home of the St. Vincent Polar Bearcats

The rich tradition of St. Vincent Hockey dates back to 1969.   An ACHA Division III school, the team participates in College Hockey East and plays colleges and universities within our class throughout the Mid West and Mid Atlantic Regions. 

Head Coach Brett Martz is a St. Vincent College Graduate. He played on the SVC hockey from 1999 to 2002. Brett was an outstanding player and former captain of the team. Assistant Coach Robert Martz,( Brett's dad) has many years experience coaching travel teams. Team Faculty General Manager Tom Holowaty is a tenured professor at the college providing student athletes with a solid base of on and off ice support.

If you are interested in playing on the team please contact us. We will have a number of opening on the squad next year. You will have the chance to dress and play as a freshman


Current Season (2015 -2016) Stats 

The 2013/2014 season .

 This past weekend the Bearcats won their third straight game.

 On Friday night in a hard fought game, the Bearcats beat Penn State Behren  6-5 in a shootout

 On Sunday,  Shippensburg University was defeated by Saint Vincent 4-3

  A week ago  Sunday, Saint Vincent College Bearcats beat West Virginia University 5-3

The next game is coming Friday January  31 when the Bearcats will play  Penn State Altoona.

Game time at the Center Ice Arena is  8:30PM


We are in the process of recruiting new players for next year.

We  have a  number of new freshmen who started this season.
