Surry Storm: Welcome

Welcome to the Surry Storm website. We are a traveling AAU girls basketball club.The Storm currently has a 3rd Grade - Black, 3rd Grade - White, 4th Grade - Wright, 5th Grade - Beasley,  6th Grade - Mayfield, 7th Grade - Bunker, 7th Grade- Slater, 8th Grade - Flippen, -8th Grade - Hodge, 9th Grade - Gilley and 11th Grade - Hiatt.

11th Annual Mayberry March Madness

Surry Storm Girls Basketball Club is pleased to announce the dates of our 11th Annual Mayberry March Madness March  2 - 3, 2013 in Mt. Airy, NC.   2012 had 135 teams from NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, WV, MD and DC .  2011 had 139, 2010 had 133 teams and 2009 had 126 teams.  In 2013 we hope to have over 150 teams from all over the East Coast. A challenge goes out to those teams from Ohio & Kentucky to see if they can compete with the Mid Atlantic teams.  We are 2 hrs from Charlotte, Raleigh and Roanoke, VA on Interstate 77.  Each team will be guaranteed 4+ games for only $250.00 per team.  Organizations that enter more than 1 team will receive a discount of $25.00 per team.  All gyms are within 15 minutes.  There will be no Friday night play and teams outside of the 2 hour radius will receive later start times on Saturday.  Outstanding trophy package.  Entry deadline is February  25, 2013.  No team will be placed in tournament without submitting entry fee.  For more information email us at dgc@surry.net.
