Starting a New Season - Please Read
|
Hello everyone,
There has been some confusion when starting a new season. You should start your new season by following the steps below.
1. Start New Season (Tools --> New Season)
2. Change year date
3. Mark All Players Inactive
4. Remove All Division Assignments
5. Remove All Team Assignments
6. Mark All Volunteers Inactive
7. Remove all Volunteer Assignments
8. Delete Marked Records
Since you should unassign everyone, I suggest printing out your team rosters so you can reassign as needed. This will help when you go to assign players to the same teams as last year.
Good luck in your upcoming season!

I followed the steps outlined, and additionally changed the cutoff birthday date to from the end of August to April 30. The ages are not correlating to the new cutoff date. If I put in 2005, the ages are too old. If I put in 2006, the ages are too young.
Is there something else I should do?

You have to make sure you change the cut off date in the division field (located in the division and teams categories). Make sure you list the division like minors or majors, then go back to the player registration field and add the division the each player. This should correct the league age.
Hope this helps
