Softball tournament team tryouts are scheduled for Friday May 31st.  

Girls born in 2002 or 2003 may tryout for our U10 tournament team on Friday May 31st from 5:00-6:15pm at the little league complex.  If you are interested in trying out for the U10 team please email John Hadley to reserve your spot at tryouts (jhads19@yahoo.com) 

Girls born in 2001 or 2000 may tryout for our U12 tournament team on Friday May 31st from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the little league complex.  If you are interested in trying out for the U12 team please email Maurice Reuter to reserve your spot at tryouts (softballreuters@gmail.com)

Please see the attached document (handout link below) for information on the 2013 tournament team selection process for baseball players ages 9-12 (9U-12U). Please note that the tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, May 25, to allow for adequate (i.e., several games) evaluation of players during league play and to have available multiple tryout make-up dates in case of inclement weather.  Registration is required  by May 23rd.  Follow the link below

13U information: Use same registration as for 9U-12U. Register by May 23. Tryouts on Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day), 5pm at Sacred Hearts field. All players interested in playing for the 13U team are required to try out. 13U tournaments are as follows: June 22-23 Janesville, June 29-30 Watertown, July 6-7 Fond du Lac, July 13-14 Waunakee, July 19-21 Sun Prairie, and July 26-28 Sussex.

Sun Prairie Little League is sponsoring a second series of free baseball and softball clinics operated by Kevyn Feiner and Prairie Athletic Club. Coaches and players are encouraged to attend and polish their skills.

• Junior Baseball Players/Coaches (first 60 registrants): Saturday 6/8 9am - 11am at Sacred Hearts
• Major Baseball Players/Coaches at SPLL (first 60 registrants): Sunday 6/22 9am- 10:30am at SPLL complex 
• Minor Baseball Players/Coaches (first 60 registrants): Sunday 6/22 10:30am-12:00 at SPLL complex 
• Rookies Baseball Players/Coaches (first 60 registrants): Sunday 6/22 12:30pm-1:30 at SPLL complex 
• Girls Softball Majors & Minors (first 60 registrants): Sunday 6/22 1:30-3:00 at SPLL complex

Saturday, June 1 will be SPLL Night at the Madison Mallards baseball game. Game time is 6:05pm. More information and a portal to purchase tickets is now available, please see the flyer available on the Handouts page for more information --- $10 per ticket gets a Field Box seat and a Mallards hat, and the Mallards generously give back to SPLL $2 per ticket sold.

 With SPLL Night set for a Saturday night while school is still in session, we're hopeful that this date and time will allow for teams to come together and result in a large SPLL crowd and a fun night at the Duck Pond (Warner Park; 2920 North Sherman Avenue; Madison, WI 53704).
