 About your Sumter Tigers:

Your Sumter Tigers, formerly Sumter Lions, have provided the Sumter area with a safe, fun, full-contact, competitive football and cheer experience to the youth since 2011. The objective of our organization is to instill life-long values by promoting teamwork, dedication and superior work ethic both in the classroom and on the field. Skills are taught in a structured environment under Pop Warner rules and regulations. Although relatively new in the Sumter area, the coaching staff, team moms and board members have years of cumulative coaching and/or volunteer experience. They all strive to inspire ideas of fitness, health, citizenship, character, and camaraderie among the players. All staff is on a volunteer basis and complete annual background checks: attend classes and/or training annually to participate. It is our duty to make the welfare of the children of utmost imprtance and maintain a program of service to the youth entirely free of adult ambition and personal glory. Our organization is registered as a non-profit organziation and exclusively for the charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We appreciate all the support from the community, local merchants, and other organizations that help make this possible.

Sumter Tigers welcome all children between the ages of five (5) and thirteen (13) to join together in a unique brotherhood/sisterhood with endless hours of unforgettable memories.

"We get one opportunity in life, one chance at life to do whatever you're going to do, and lay your foundation and make whatever mark you're going to make. Whatever legacy you're going to leave: LEAVE YOUR LEGACY!" (Ray Lewis)
