SummitVolleyball: Welcome

Welcome to a new adventure in volleyball.

Summit Volleyball Club is beginning its first season as an organization with the mission to provide a club level experience to girls ages 10-18 in east San Diego County. We will also be running as Starlings Volleyball Club for the younger teams. Our philosophy is to provide an atmosphere where athletes can develop solid technique and knowledge about the sport of volleyball, but they will also learn life skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork, self-esteem and responsibility. Our cost is well below other clubs offering a similar experience, and fundraising opportunities provide assistance to those who need it.

Practices will be held at El Capitan gymnasium in Lakeside, primarily on weekends until basketball season ends and gym time opens up.

We currently plan on having 7 teams in four age groups. Players may be moved up if their skill allows, but players cannot play below their age range. Details on tournaments and cost for each age level can be found by clicking on the link in the menu for each group. Also, registration paperwork can be downloaded from the handouts page.

Age definitions are as follows:

18 and under division (three teams - high school players)
Players who were born on or after September 1st, 1993

14 and under division (two teams)
Players who were born on or after September 1st, 1997

12 and under division (two teams)
Players who were born on or after September 1st, 1999
