History
The MIBL was established in 2000 By Jason Connors with the support of several local teams looking to play organized baseball. During the first year of competition the MIBL was made up of 11 Teams. Avon Orioles, Brockton RedSox, Brockton Rangers, Brockton Reds, Brockton Indians, Eire Pub of Dorchester, Quincy Granite, The Quincy Twins, Taunton Titans, and the Southshore Tigers.
2000: Taunton Titans defeat the Eire Pub in one 9 inning game winning the MIBL’s first ever league championship. The Titans were led by the pitching tandom of Josh Glenn, Chuck Martin, and the hitting of Ryan Abren, AJ Vierra, Glenn, Martin, and Aaron Lachance.
2001: Brockton Reds defeat the Brockton RedSox in their first of many to follow MIBL championships. Led by Frankee and Christos Alexopolis. In a best of three series at Strong Field the Brockton Reds defeated the Brockton RedSox, sweeping them 5-3 in both games. The Reds were led by Scott Mitchell who tossed both games of the double header, along with tremendous defense.
2002: Bull Dogs defeat the Phillies in a best of three series winning the MIBL championship. Led by Sean Faherty and Kevin shaw on the hill along with the potent offense led by Mike Saraceno, Tom Tracey, Ryan McDonald, and legendary trash talker, Adam Fralick.
2003: Brockton Reds climb back in 03 defeating the reining Champs Brewers (team name change). In game one the Reds exploded against Cadres for a lopsided blowout victory. Steve Pacheco (Reds Ace) pitched a gem for he victory. In game two the Reds played solid defense, scrapped offense, and got great pitching from Brett Curren to knock off the Brewers, bringing home their second Championship.
2004: Brockton Reds defeat the Phillies in a best of three series at Butler field in Avon, bringing home their third title in four years. Led by veterans Frankee and Christos Alexopolis, Brett and Brian Curren, JJ and Josh Lucier, and John Gentile.
2005: Brockton Reds defeat the East Bridgewater Royals in a best of three series at Strong Field in East Bridgewater and Braintree High.
2006: Brockton Reds for the second year in a row defeat the East Bridgewater Royals in a best of three series at McKenny and Strong Field. The Reds received strong pitching from Steve Pacheco in game one shutting down the powerful Royals line up. In game two, the royals received a gem of their own from lefy ………….. In game three Brian Curren delivered a hard fought performance for the victory and the Reds 6 MIBL championship.

2002 - Brockton Bulldogs Defeat Easton Phillies in three games
2003 - Brockton Reds Defeat Brockton Brewers in two games
2004 - Brockton Reds Defeat Easton Phillies in two games
2005 - Brockton Reds Defeat East Bridgewater Royals in three games
2006 - Brockton Reds Defeat East Bridgewater Royals in three games
