DSSA: Welcome

DSSA Welcome Page

Welcome to the Official Website of Davor Šuker Soccer Academy (DSSA) in the United States and Canada. Since retiring from professional soccer in 2003, Davor Šuker has dedicated much of his time to providing advanced youth soccer training programs in select cities across Europe. Established in 2003, the Academy currently runs programs in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Croatia. Each year, a limited number of US and Canadian DSSA destinations are announced giving North American players an opportunity to experience world class training on "this side of the pond".

The vision of DSSA is to provide each and every player that attends our camps or clinics unique and comprehensive learning experience. What makes DSSA different from other camps is that participants of the program will have the rare opportunity to develop their technical skills alongside Davor Šuker - one of Europe’s elite and most feared strikers! In addition to intense technical training, DSSA aims to educate players on the importance of physical and mental maturity – all important elements to reaching a players full potential.

Davor Šuker won the highly coveted Golden Boot at the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France having scored the most goals during the competition. He was also awarded the Silver Ball as the 2nd most outstanding player in the tournament next to Ronaldo. Testament to his soccer brilliance, Davor Šuker was named by Pele to the FIFA 100 list of the top 125 greatest soccer players. Learn more about Davor and his accomplishments by visiting the other pages on our website.

We look forward too seeing children, parents and coaches enjoy and benefit from attending Davor Šuker Soccer Academy at one of our locations in 2009.
