Fall Cleanup - Saturday November 8,2014
8am - 4pm
Suffield Little League is run by a group of dedicated parents who volunteer as the Board of Directors. It is not run by the town of Suffield. As parents and board members, our main goal is to give the youth of Suffield the best baseball and softball experience possible. As an all-volunteer organization, we need the assistance of other parents to help ensure their children will have a fun-filled and memorable season.
To encourage that support, the Board of Dirctors will continue to implement the Volunteer Bond for the 2015 season, a $50 (per family) fee which will be collected at the time of registration. The league is not looking for the money; we are looking for help running the league operations. The volunteer bond will be refunded after completing the required service commitment for the season; a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer time PLUS one night in Chet's. There are many ways to help the league and the Fall Cleanup is a great one.
If you are able to volunteer this fall to help cleanup the fields and prepare for the spring season your time will be recorded and count towards your required 4 hours of volunteer work. There are many things that need be completed before the winter. We are looking for approximately 20 parents who are willing to come out on Saturday November 8, 2014 from 8am - 4pm and get our fields ready to be closed up for the season. The more work we can get done this fall the better off we will be come spring time.
If you can come out and lend a hand for the fall cleanup please respond to the facebook post and your name will be recorded. OR Send a one line email with your name to email@example.com (Jason Jamrog, Information Officer) let us know you will be there so we can have jobs lined up for everyone.
Suffield Little League truly appreciates your support.
