Warriors Take 3 Golds at Lowell (February '04)

Twelve wrestlers made the trip up to Lowell High School Saturday morning for the Copper/Bronze Tournament. The Warriors had a fantastic day coming home with 3 golds, 3 silvers and a bronze. After pinning his first two opponents, Jordan Syatt faced off against a tough wrestler from Marlboro, who he had dropped a heartbreaker the previous weekend in Wayland. He avenged the loss with a 7-3 decision, to win his first tournament. Devin Acton also finished his season in style, racking up three pins on his way to the gold medal 80 pounds. The last gold of the day went to Mike Pace, with a second period pin in his final match to take first in the 100 pound group. Winning silver medals were Chris Stoll, Jon Starr and Jon Nichols.
