A Message from Coach Collier:

Welcome to the Saint Viator Lion's Lacrosse web site. Saint Viator High School was established by the Clerics of Saint Viator and the Archdiocese of Chicago to continue the Viatorian mission of providing religious formation and an academic program of excellence. Saint Viator High School is located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The Saint Viator Varsity Lion's Lacrosse team finished its 2004 & 2005 seasons as the Runner-Up for the Division 1A State Lacrosse Cup. Heart-breaking losses in the 1A Lacrosse Cup Championship Game will not dampen the spirits of Saint Viator Lacrosse. For the 2006 season the Illinois High School Lacrosse Association invited our program to join the ranks of it's elite programs and play up into the 2A class based on our performance during our first two seasons. With our success in the 2008 season including our second consecutive Mid Suburban League Conference Championship our program has proven once again that we can run and gun with the big boys of lacrosse in the state of Illinois! Join us as we continue to build a tradition of winning at Saint Viator!

All student athletes that are considering playing Lacrosse in next spring should e-mail me ASAP! There are a lot of preseason programs that can help prepare you to be a part of Saint Viator Lacrosse! Please take a second to sign in on our guestbook!

2009 All State, MSL All-Conference & Illinois All-Star Game Selections

Congratulations to Matt Barry, Defense for being named to the Illinois All State Second Team!

Congratulations to Joe Shaxted, Midfield for being given Illinois All State Honorable Mention honors!

Congratulations to the following players on making the 2008 Mid Suburban All Conference Teams.

1st Team All Conference: Keegan Korab, Attack - Brett Biondi, Attack - Joe Shaxted, Midfield & Matt Barry, Defense.

2nd Team All Conference: Brian Goss, Attack - Connor Murphy, Defense & Billy McEnerney, Goalie

All Conference Honorable Mention: Joe Peart, Defense.

The following SENIORS were selected to play in the 2009 Illinois All Star Game.
