Stroudsburg Little League: Spring Competition Divisions
Tee Ball is for young boys and girls ages 5-6. It is a non-competitive, instructional league designed to provide youngsters the opportunity to learn, develop and practice the fundamental baseball skills.
MINOR "B"
A developmental League for youth boys and girls ages 6-8. Our goal is to present the basic fundimentals in fielding, throwing and hitting while demonstrating an understanding of baseball and softball.
MINOR A
Developmental League for players ages 9-11. Minor A plays under Little League rules with some local adapted rules to balance fairness and competitiveness. No standings are recorded, nor are championship awards presented at this level.
LITTLE LEAGUE MAJORS DIVISION (American & National)
The Little League Baseball Division (sometimes known as the Major Division) is for boys and girls ages 9-12. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.
BOYS JUNIOR - SENIOR DIVISION
The Junior - Senior League Baseball Division is a program for ages 13-16, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Games are played at Hughes Field, Creekview Park.
GIRLS SOFTBALL MINORS DIVISION
Softball minors is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of softball, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
GIRLS SOFTBALL MAJORS DIVISION
PLAYERS AGE 9-12. Little League Softball, established in 1974, currently has more than 25,000 softball teams and 360,000 participants worldwide.
