This week's practice schedule
In preperation for Kalamazoo, our practice schedule will change this week. Greg will be coaching the boys in Kalamazoo and wants to work with the boys and get know their positions. Jim will also be at the practices working with Greg.
Monday - 6:00 - 7:30 (scrimmage with the U16 boys)
Tuesday - 4:45 - 6:15 (scrimmage with the U14 boys)
Thursday - 6:00 -7:30 (scrimmage with the U16 boys).

Kalamazoo Invitational Soccer Showcase
I'm working on the Kalamazoo Invitational Soccer Showcase coming up the weekend of June 16 - 17. It is suppose to be a very competitive tournament. In 2006, teams participated from 12 States and Canada. In addition, there is an opportunity for college exposure with 108 colleges from 19 states participating.
I did get a very positive feedback from the team for this tournament, based on e-mails I received and some conversations. Before we continue, I'd like to get a commitment from those of you who can participate that weekend. At this time, I've heard from 4 families that will not be able to commit.
Note - In the previous e-mail I said both the U16 and U14 boys were going to participate in this tournament. That has changed. The U16 boys are going and are registered, the U14 boys will not be attending.
Some Facts Regarding the Weekend
* The cost of this tournament is a little higher that others we have participated in - $625.00 (approximately $35.00 per player --based on 18 players).
* Coach Jim will not be able to coach the team that weekend, however, we will be coached by another Cedarburg Soccer Club coach.
* The drive is around 5-6 hours.
* That weekend, June 16-17 is Father's Day weekend.
* We will have a lot of fun!!
