SBA 2012 Registration dates and rates!
Our registration sessions for Spring season will be held as follows:
Sat. 1/14/12 from 9 AM to 1 PM @ Stratford police station
Wed. 1/18/12 from 5 PM to 7 PM @ Stratford police station
Sat. 1/28/12 from 9 AM to 1 PM @ Stratford police station
Wed. 2/1/12 from 5 PM to 7 PM @ Stratford police station
Sat. 2/18/12 from 9 AM to 1 PM @ Stratford police station
Wed. 2/22/12 from 5 PM to 7 PM @ Stratford police station
Sat. 3/3/12 from 9 AM to 1 PM @ Stratford police station
Wed. 3/7/12 from 5 PM to 7 PM @ Stratford police station
Sat. 3/10/12 from 9 AM to 1 PM @ Stratford police station
Our registration and fundraiser fees are:
Rookies: $55 plus $30 fundraiser raffle (5-6 yr olds coach pitch)
Burdick: $65 plus $30 fundraiser raffle (7-8 yr olds coach pitch)
Minor 60: $100 plus $30 fundraiser raffle (9-10 yr olds player pitch)
Major 70: $100 plus $30 fundraiser raffle (11-12 yr olds)
Babe Ruth: $125 plus $30 fundraiser raffle (13-15 yrs olds)
A player's LEAGUE age is determined by how old the player is on April 30, 2012.
The pricing includes membership to United Athletice Center for the Minor 60, Major 70 and Babe Ruth division players, as based on a player's division and not age.
We offer a sibling discount where registration for a second (third, etc.) child pays only $30 registration plus $30 fundraiser fee (highest division fees prevail). There is also an early payment discount of $10/family for registrations and payments received in JANUARY.
Registrations received in March will be put on a waiting list and a $10 late surcharge will apply. Late registrations are not eligible for sibling discount. Any registration received without payment in full, will be held out until payment is received. Players will not be placed on teams without full payment of all fees.

SBA looking for team sponsors (documents in Handout area)
Stratford Baseball Association (formerly Stratford PONY Baseball) is a non profit youth baseball organization. We are currently seeking sponsors for our 2012 seasons, which includes spring, fall and tournament competition. We are asking area businesses to help support our (your) children, as the funds we collect from registration fees and fundraising programs are not enough to cover the cost of our providing exceptional baseball programs for the children in our league. The money that sponsors contribute is used to offset the cost of uniforms, equipment, and field renovations. Past contributions have also helped to transform our Clover Field Park into the top youth baseball facility in Stratford, which boasts a field house, concession stand, and batting cage. Our league is comprised of 5 divisions for children ages 5 through 15, and has an active enrollment of over 530 players. We have affiliations with Cal Ripken Baseball, Babe Ruth League, and the Stratford Titans, our in-house travel baseball program. We have over 85 volunteer coaches committed to teaching the fundamentals of baseball as well as the values of sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun and safe environment. In return for your sponsorship support we will: - Put your business on the team’s uniform jersey. - Present your business with a team plaque for you to display at your business. - Put your business in the sponsor listing on our Website (www.stratfordaseball.org) - Invite you to opening day ceremonies. - Provide a letter of our 501C non profit status for your tax deductible contribution. We are again holding our basic team sponsorship rate at $250 per team and also offering a special "Elite" package. This discounted package includes team sponsorship in each of the three 2012 seasons: Spring/Fall/Tournament. There are only eight "Elite" sponsorships available at a rate of $500 to those who return their payment in full by March 1, 2012. Please remember to include a business card when returning the enclosed application with your payment. We thank you for your consideration and look forward to your continued support of our League.
