What if...

If the ice storm gets too bad, we might call off practice.  This will be the main mode of communication if we have to cancel.  Please check this website page (Home Page) for up to date information regarding practice.  If I had to guess now, practice will continue.  I you have any questions, call Coach Jeans at 314-249-3568.

Please realize that if we call off and the update is late, at least one coach will be at the rink.  Your son can still come out and get time.  If we start to call, we plan on calling the remote players (Skaggs, Raftery, Case, Farber, Lorraine, etc) first.

Personally, and I hope I can speak for the entire coaching staff...the kids really came together this weekend and played good to great hockey for the most part this weekend.  Many of the games felt like tight playoff game style games.  It was great to see the kids come together.  If we keep it up, we will have a successful second half of the season.  Congrats on a fun, good weekend.  Let's get ready to play Madison this weekend.

See you at the rink this week???

General Practice Info

Here we go...the season has begun!

General practice info will follow the guidelines below...

1. For weekday practices, I expect the players at the rink 30 minutes before practice.  This should give them enough time for dynamic warm-up (1/2 hour before ice time), to get dressed and to receive instructions from the coaches reagrding practice.

2. For Monday practices, we will hold an off-ice after for at least one-hour, sometimes maybe more depending on what we are doing.  Players should have the following for the off-ice events (they can put them in their bags)-- t-shirt, athletic shorts, socks, tennis shoes and a beach towel (beach towel can be old and nasty, as it will be on the ground for the most part).

 3. For games, players will need to be at the rink one-hour prior to the start of the game.  This means they should be in the locker room, ready for instruction or personal game preparation.

We will discuss all of this in a parents meeting upcoming.  Your players should have already heard of all of this as we have discussed these in practice.  As usual, if you have any questions, please call Coach Jeans at 314-249-3568.  If you are going to be late, please have your player call Coach Jeans before the time they are supposed to be at a designated location.  If there is need to miss an event (as long as it is not an emergency) please give Coach Jeans 24 hour notice.

This website will be the main mode of communication this season, reagrding changes and updates.  Please get your players used to checking it, and informing you the parents of changes!!!

see you all soon!
