St Peter Saints CYO: Welcome

The 7th grade boys’ team is doing well even though our record does not show it (1-7). All the boys have shown marked improvement. This was demonstrated in this past Sunday’s game. It was a close one. When it was over, I asked them if they had fun…they said yes, but some weren’t smiling.

The boys all seem to have fun and get along well at practice. Maybe a little too much at times (including coach Dean and myself). Maybe with a little more focus and hard work at practice, everyone will be smiling at the end of the season with a few more wins.

At a past game during a time out toward the end of play, Kyle somehow caught sight of this man. “What’s up with this guy coach? What kind of parent comes to a basketball game wearing a hockey jersey?”
