Ray Gilliam "Goose"
Position: Director
Profile: Goose was inducted into the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame in 1982. He played for St. Matthews 1943 & 1944 and won City Championship.
While he served in the US Army, Goose played goalie for an Amateur Team in Germany.
After service he played for Craig Club, Kutis 1 and 2, Blue Circle, L&L, Giesler-Jorgen and Good Counsel.
Formed over 30 League along with Jim McMahon and Warren Dimantini from 1967 until 1977.
Served on the St. Louis League and refereed High School Soccer.
Elected to succeed Mickey Connor’s as President of the Saint Louis Soccer HOF in 1995 and remained President until 2005.
Received Gold Boot Award in 1999 and Mickey Connors Presidential Award in 2001.
Received Msgr. Jimmy Johnston Award in 2008.
