The St. Louis Soccer HOF sponsored 3 Soccer games on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Midwest Soccer Academy. The first game was College Women's, Tyler Jr. College from Tyler, Texas who beat Forest Park Community College 6-0. The second game was College Mens, Crowder College from Neosha, MO took the win away from Forest Park Community College 2-1. The third game was played between DuBourg HS and Lutheran South HS. Lutheran South won 4-3. It was a great day for Soccer.

The St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame 2009 Inductees were honored at half-time for their contribution to Soccer. The St. Louis Lyons beat Thunder Bay of Canada 1-0. It was a beautiful day for Soccer when the Lyons came through with a victory.

The Annual Mass for deceased Soccer players, coaches and referees was held at St. Gabriel's Church on June 4, 2009. After Mass there was a reception held in St. Gabriel’s Parish Hall. This was well attended snd was a great opportunity for all to remember the deceased Soccer players and visit with old friends and past teammates.

The Soccer Hall of Fame was started by a group of Irishmen. So on St. Patrick's day, many of our members gather to join the Hibernian celebration in Dogtown to march in the parade. The weather contributed to a large turnout this year. Members are always welcome to join us!
