If you don't find the question or answer you are seeking please feel free to contact us anytime at stlsamurailax@yahoo.com we are here to help you anytime. SOME SAMURAI FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. What is the GLC? (A) GLC is a new organization that manages the St. Louis Samurai Program. The GLC will play an integral role in assisting athletes as they develop during the years. Their goal is to provide personal college application assistance and admissions counseling, and to continue to create expanded opportunities for our players to be recruited by top lacrosse schools. For our younger players we intend to provide training and guidance with the planning, preparation, and development for college lacrosse. 2. Who do I contact if I have any questions or problems concerning the Summer or Fall Sessions? (A) Please contact Coach Justin Cutter for any questions, concerns, or issues that arise during your session. You can contact him by e-mail at stlsamurailax@yahoo.com. 3. Does my son have to attend the all the tournaments and practices? (A) We have set up the teams at low numbers in order to allow maximum playing time and to provide a better coach/player ratio. We would like your son to make every effort to attend all events. However, we understand other plans may have been made. If you are unable to attend a practice or league night please notify Coach Cutter as soon as you are aware of the conflict so we can make any changes! ALL TRIPS ARE MANDATORY, IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE SCHEDULED TRIPS PLEASE DO NOT TRYOUT! 4. Where do I look for up-dates throughout the season? (A) We will mainly contact you through e-mail to notify you of various things such as; reminders, any changes in the schedule, cancelled practices or games, and the like. We will also update our NEW hotline every day to which there is a Samurai event. 5. If my son made the team in the summer, does that mean he is on the team in the fall? (A) No, we will hold an entirely new set of tryouts for each session we run during the course of the year. As we expect those players that made the team in the summer to play for us again, we also know that other players may have not been able to tryout in the summer due to conflicts with their schedule. As well, players on the summer roster may have other obligations in the fall (e.g. Playing football or soccer) and may not be able to participate. Therefore, the Samurai’s will hold tryouts every time we run a new session to ensure full competitive teams. 6. How many times does the Samurai Program run sessions? (A) We will be running two sessions -summer and fall/winter. |
