On Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at 7 pm, the Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches Association will be having a Pasta Party at Angelo's Ristorante, 247 N. York Road, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126.

  York Coach Joe Newton will be the speaker, and the agenda for the meeting includes the Senior All-Star Cross Country Meet, the ITCCCA January Track & Field Convention, and an IHSA Advisory Board Meeting Update.

 On Friday, October 2, 2009, the Northside Varsity Top 12 Men and Top 12 Women will have a Pasta Party in preparation for the Niles West Invitational. The Northside College Prep Mustangs are the defending Niles West Invitational Champions. The Niles West Invitational also features the IHSA Sectional course, with a new Olympic style stadium finish. 

 A special thanks to the Mesimore Family for hosting the Pasta Party. The Mesimore's address is 6379 N. Nokomis Ave., Chicago, IL 60646. Driving directions will be provided in practice. Please bring drinks to contribute to the Pasta Party. Thanks. 

 After dinner, the Team will see the movie, The Long Green Line. The Varsity has been waiting since August to see this movie, and the wait will be worth it.

 On Friday, September 18, 2009, the night before the Peoria "Pre-State" Invitational, the Northside Top 12 Men and Top 12 Women will have a Team dinner in Peoria, Illinois at the Cracker Barrel. Athletes will have already spent the day running on the IHSA State Course in Preparation for the Peoira Notre Dame "Pre-State" Invitational, and will be provided with anything they want on the menu. All expenses will be 100% paid by the Northside Coaching staff.

 On Friday, September 11, 2009, the night before the Gordon Tech Invitational, ALL Sophomore-Freshman members of the Northside Cross Country TEAM have been invited to a Pasta Party, after practice, at 6:15 pm, at 1340 W. Arthur Ave for a Pasta Party. Please contribute to the Pasta Party by bringing drinks. Thanks.

 1340 W. Arthur Ave (First apartment, bottom buzzer) is one block north of Devon, between Sheridan and Glenwood. If driving from school, take Bryn Mawr east to Western, turn left (north). Western to Peterson, turn right (east) Peterson to Clark/Ashland, take a left (north). Ashland becomes Clark. Turn Right (east) on Devon. Then left up (north)Wayne . This feeds into Arthur, a one way-Street heading west. We are the second building east of the parking lot on the northside of the street. Parking permits will be available at the door.
