STHA Jr. Senators Travel Teams
The STHA Jr. Senators Travel Program is a NYSAHA Tier II division of teams starting at the Mite level ages 8 and under, the next level is Squirt which is ages 9 and 10, to the Peewee level of 11 and 12, to Bantam with ages 13 and 14 and last the Midgets who are ages 15, 16 and 17. At all of these levels (with the exception of the Mites) there are two teams: "A" level and "B" level. The "A" teams are sectional bound teams that could eventually go to the state level of competition and possibly the National level. The "B" Level otherwise referred to as the Upstate league and compete for a Championship in the Upstate League only throughout New York State. Both the "A" and "B" teams in the STHA they are referred to as "The STHA Binghamton Jr. Senators".
STHA PeeWee House
PeeWee-age division is reserved for 11 and 12 year old skaters. This division, per USA Hockey rules, is where checking is introduced.
STHA Dyno-Mite House
Our Dyno-Mite Division is a collection of the older and more experienced skaters in the Mite division. All 7 and 8 yr old skaters participate here. Some experienced or larger-sized skaters may also participate in this division.
STHA Squirt House
Squirt-age division is reserved for 9 and 10 year old skaters. Per USA Hockey rules, this division remains non-checking.
STHA 16 & Under House
The 16U division is reserved for 13 through 16 year old skaters.
STHA Mini-Mite House
Our Mini-Mite Division is a breakout of the USA Hockey MITE division. Ages range from beginners as young as 4 years old to skaters as old as 6. Some beginner or smaller-sized 7 year olds may be also be a part of this division.
STHA Midget House
The Midget division is reserved for 15 through 17 year old skaters.
ST Bantams
Southern Tier (ST) Bantams - House Select team
Snowbelt Teams
We have one Squirt and one Bantam team entered in the Snowbelt League this season
